I bought a xlr female to a xlr male cable to connect to pc but it doesnt work that way so what should i do
Your condensor mic requires special electrical handling usually reserved for proffesional audio equipment, not a PC. You will need two pieces of equipment, a short XLR cable and an adapter cable.
1) Behringer PS400 Ultra-Compact Phantom Power Supply.
This will supply the mic with necessary Phantom Power.
2) Rapco Horizon ISOBLOX Transformer Isolation 1:1 BLOX Device
This will isolate the Phantom Power from your computer, allowing it to work as necessary.
The adaptor connector cable you need will be a female XLR (with pins 1 and 3 shorted, pin 2 hot), through a cable connect to a 1/8" mini plug. They connect in that order with a short XLR cable between 1) and 2). .

While Stan is on the right track he's making it a bit more complicated than necessary.
1) use a standard XLR male to female cable
2) buy a USB interface such as an M-Audio M-Track. But there are many other USB interfaces that will also work well. If you are using a condenser microphone (which the CAD GXL2200 is a condenser mic) be sure whatever USB interface you buy is able to supply the 48 volt 'phantom power' that the microphone requires to operate. Dynamic mics don't need the 48 volts but almost any condenser type mic MUST have this 48 volts to work at all.
Then you simply plug the cable from the mic to the USB interface, plug the USB interface into your computer, make sure the 'phantom power' is turned on (on the USB interface), and then startup your favorite recording program (I use Sound Studio for Apple Macintosh) and in the Preferences select the USB interface as your audio source.
