Need to know where to set wheels for highest cut for lawn
Move the 4 wheel adjustment levers to the number 4 position which is all the way forward (towards you if facing the front of the mower) and that is the highest setting which is about 4" cut height. Each number for the lever position represents the inches in cut. In between numbers is 1/2" so in between 2 and 3 would be 2 1/2" cut as an example.

Most front ends for riding lawn mowers, need to be greased. In addition to this, most of the rims for the front tires, have a nipple for a grease gun, which also need to be lubricated.

You need to check the belt on the deck. Something is binding or stuck. Could be a frozen pulley. Could also be the kill switch under the seat. If it is free, go get it.

You will have to find another way to highten the deck, different bolts, shorter springs, Or if possible, adjusting the lever
