I have responded to your earlier post. According to the specifications of your PC, it has realtec sound. Click here to download the Sound Drivers. Double Click the downloaded file ( sp26792.exe), which you may have downloaded already. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
Let me know if any further clarification is required

Creative media source is asking for some audio hardware what is that?

Sounds to me like it's asking for your sound card. If you have the sound card installed, does it work? (Does it play system sounds?)
Have you gone to the Creative website and downloaded the latest drivers?

Whenever I install a program like that and it asks for hardware, it means it can't find it.
Try removing the sound card (if possible), restarting the computer, then put the card back in and start it up.
Or--remove the sound card in device manager and let Windows find it again when it starts--could be a conflict.

My computer has no sound

did you restore with a factory restore disk or did you just install a copy of windows? the reason i'm asking is because if you're running a proprietary system i.e. Compaq, Dell, IBM etc. you need a factory restore disk to restore the system back to the way it arrived to you from the manufacturer or you will other wise have to find out what hardware your system has at the manufacturers web site or by phone and manually download and install the drivers.

I have no sound on realtek ac 97 card. all device audio drivers are yellow with exlamation mark next to them. im using a acer aspire computer ,all sound card titles r greyed out ,without any access i have...

You should at least classify your problem by the RealTek chip you have. That's great you went into the Device Manager to check out the error number, but if you doubleclicked the yellow warning signs, it would explain you just haven't loaded a driver.

Either you told Windows not to accept the non-WHQL-signed driver, or you didn't install the driver. So install it from Device Manager by going into the details tabs and asking Windows to just find what's handy, or go to the maker's website and search for the appropriate driver. Install it.... Save your work since rebooting will be needed. Then adjust the mixer, set up microphones, listen to Mum (the band) etc.
