The message E 511: Service Required is commonly due to the Photo Conductor Unit's tabs getting stuck. So the first thing we need to do is to remove the PHoto Conductor Unit. Here are the step to remove the Photo Conductor Unit off of your EPSON Aculaser C1100.

1. Turn the printer on, and open cover B.




2. Raise the yellow lever inside cover B.


3. Remove the photoconductor unit.



4. Check the white tabs on the underside of the photoconductor unit. These are spring-loaded plastic tabs that should depress when you press and release it. If the white tabs no longer spring back you need to replace the photoconductor unit.

After removing or ultimately replacing the photoconductor unit, please follow the step by step giude on how to remove the photoconductor unit in reverse order.

Because the Epson AcuLaser Color 2000 was made for Latin America, there's not much information that I can give you concerning your Service Error Condition. All I can tell you is that the Service Request error # E033 is an Engine Related Service Call Error Message for OHP Detection Sensor Malfunction [abnormal condition]. Check to see if the windows on the OHP sensor are dirty and clean OHP sensor window and the OHP sensor reflective window. I'm sorry, but I can't even tell you where the OHP sensor is located, or anything else about it. �� Electric parts which can cause the trouble:
• Transfer Roller Pressure Solenoid (SL2)
• Transfer Roller Pressure Position Detection Sensor (PC7)
• Engine Board (PWB-A)

CPU Error. Mainboard is faulty.

A Controller error or print engine error detected. Turn off the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds and then turn it back on. If the error message still appears, write down the error number listed on the LCD panel (xyyyy) and turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and contact a qualified service representative

Is this a network printer?

What was the service error code It would look something like Service Required E510. This show on the panel and/or in the status monitor

Without this code all we know is your printer has something wrong with it.
