Frigidaire Affinity front load washer will not spin

It does everything else. When it comes to the spin cycle, it will turn slowly, but not at the speed that it is supposed to spin. Also there is more noise than I expected. The unit is only 13 month old. There is no error code at all.

It fails to wring out some loads on wash settings. Appears to be related to "out of balance" condition because no single item will achieve full spin speed. Add a second similar item to the wash/spin and it will reach full spin speed. Some full loads will fail to reach high speed spin. Suspect an over-sensitive out-of -balance sensor.

Sounds like the impeller on the drain pump is blocked. Noise could be coins trapped in drum. Check filter thoroughly, if you cannot remove blockage you may have to remove tubes from pump to clear out any blockage.

Where is the pressure calibration switch on an affinity front load washer?

Hello garrett_lind, I appreciate your inquiry!

From my understanding you are searching for the pressure calibration switch on your Frigidaire washer due to the fact that it is not spinning on the last cycle. Some possibilities as to why your appliance is not spinning could be your timer or drain pump. I could not locate steps to access the pressure switch but for electrical components I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnose and repair the appliance. -Matt

Everything works but it does not spin

There is an auxiliary switch in the door lock and switch assembly that is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to the spin cycle. This is a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during the spin cycle and the machine will not spin unless the switch is activated. The machine works except advancing to the spin cycle and this signifies that the auxiliary switch cannot be activated and the door lock and switch assembly is faulty. Replaced the door lock and switch assembly (part #131763202) to address the issue. Click on the link below for the complete and detailed procedure.
