Precor has standardized their error code messages across all their equipment so that each error will have the same meaning regardless of what model or equipment type the message appears

You can try and clear the error by holding down the power button and waiting for it to turn off then wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. {you might need to unplug it to get it to turn off}
or
Hold down the stop/reset and then push the power button while the printer is on. The printer should shut off then wait 30 seconds and then hold the stop/reset again and push the power button and the printer should turn on with the error cleared.
I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it... It is hard to get the cover off (and it's not the top cover, but the one on the right side as facing), but once you do follow the directions below.
- Turn off power and unplug from power source. - Open right side of printer (looking at the front). - Disconnect by pulling gently, both white flat ribbon cables off the main circuit board. - Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you get a error message and push "Ok". - Unplug power source. - Reconnect the flat ribbon cables by aligning and carefully pushing into the conectors on the main circuit board. - Plug in power source and turn printer on (Printer preparing occurred).
Remove the CD Drive from the computer , disconnect the charger from the computer , flip the laptop and remove the battey, with the battery disconnected , push the power button for 10 secs to release the flea power , open the memory slot , remove both the memory sticks and then put back only one of the memory stick and then try restarting your computer. If it gives out the msg amount of memory changed , then Strike F1 to continue...
