My Keurig B100, which I have had for 2 years, has started putting thruogh only about 4 oz. of hot water per cup, so I get a small, very concentrated cup of coffee. Any solution to adjusting the amount of water coming through? I have tried to run vinegar through it all day and all it does is spit a little bit out. My descale light never went on. We use softened, filtered water from our fridge. We have had it for about months only. The tech on the phone said to the the vinegar brew. And that the descale light doesn't always come on. (so what is the point of the descale indicator then I ask? Our brewer went from brewing the normal amount one day, to brewing a little less for a couple days--then a day later-nothing. It makes that awful groaning sound that it does when it is prepping to brew and then there is a longer delay for the pump of air to come, then it spits out an ounce of vinegar at best, then makes that groaning sound again and does nothing. What's up?

Same problem happened to me. There is a plastic boot inside the tank that is broken. This seals the top to the tank to the center rod. Keurig will not sell me the $5 part. They would would be glad to sell me a new brewer though!

This is a scale issue. All water has minerals wich builds up inside the brewer through time. All you need is white distilled vinegar. Drain the Keurig first and then fill it with the vinegar. After the heat reaches brewing temperature, open and close the drawer to run off a few blanks (3 to 4 cups is plenty). This will prime the vinegar though all the lines. Refill the tank to the top with more vinegar and let the brewer sit (on) over night. The next morning, run off more than half of the vinegar. You should see the cup sizes drastically increase. Within a few cups, you should be getting close to the original 8oz cup. Repeat a few times for good measure. Drain the remaining vinegar, then flush a couple full tanks of good water through it. After all remnants of vinegar is gone, your brewer should work like new.

this is not a scale issue, mine arrived from the factory producing only 6oz of water. way to strong for most. called the factory, scale, scale blah blah blah, vinegar untill we were blue. bored one day took the unit apart. on the right hand side there is some clear tubing which housed a one way valve, took apart and the valve was partally clogged. removed cleaned and reinstalled, this valve works best when not fully" seated" where it belongs so reinstall gently into the hose and leave it alone. I know what your thinking scale, scale scale. wrong. still only made 6 oz cups. there is a timer device on the back wall of the front panel on the right side as you face the unit. it is adhered to the wall with two sided tape. pry it off and on the back low and behold is a timer screw that changes the length of pump run time. turn clockwise with a sharp knife or eyeglass screwdriver and retest. 9oz of water. shame on keurig for not being more responsive to its customers.
