The word "factory: appears on the screen constantly. The model is CXD1334.

    The word "factory" appears in the center of the screen constantly. The first solution from this site is to unplug the set for 10 minutes. That did not work. Any other answers?

Did you try my suggestion? Turn TV On ....While Factory Test Is Flashing On The Screen, Press Erase On The Remote. TV Will Turn Off By Itself. Leave Off For A Few Minutes & Turn Back On.how > to get into the service menu, . With power off, > press Mute-1-8-2-Power On.please do rate the session if helped.thanks.

That means that the factory test as starting.

To end factory test Press Erase button on your remote.
The TV should turn off by itself. Leave TV off for a couple of minutes and Turn the TV back on.

If Factory test keeps coming back then either the remote, or the TV button pad is faulty.
Try removing batteries from remote to understand if it is the remote.

Try also unplugging power cord for few minutes.

If nothing work, call repairs, as that is probably a faulty keypad or IR receiver on TV.

Press the buttons randomly as something is got pressed asccidently.due to this your unit blocked in factory settings.or calling the service center of the company is much necessary.as they deal with what factory setting they have setted for your model of tv.

I think the TV is still set to demo mode (this is usually for in store)
you should have an option to take it out of demo mode with the remote control.

Unplug the unit completely for ten minutes then reconnect every thing properly and reset it.as it will work properly.

You'll need to do a factory reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.

This will reset you device to factory settings, however anything on your SD card will still remain.
At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.

A green volume control line has appeared overlaid at bottom of screen. control panel to left of keypad no longer works.volume is constantly on full. how do i remove it.

At this point I would suggest you a full factory reset. You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps:

Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction. NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.
