No sim card indicator

About a week ago the NO SIM CARD indicator would appear. I would turn off my phone and after a few minutes turn it back on and the indicator would disappear. Since then the issue has been more frequent and now the NO SIM CARD indicator remains.

SOURCE: Sim Card

Stop!

The back does not slide off.

Use the small tool in the box to depress a very small plunger on the top of the iPhone 3G, next to the earpiece socket.

A drawer will open to insert your Sim.

SOURCE: Cannot import contact from sim card to iphone 3G

Turn off the iPhone before inserting the sim, insert sim, turn on, import contacts. If you put the sim in the phone without restarting it for some reason it doesn't get all the contacts sometimes.

All I am asking for us where can I get the phone number for the Sim card I purchased 3 weeks ago!

phone number should be on the package of the sim card. the sim card itself will only have the sim number. you can call the service provider and give them the sim number and they can give you the corresponding phone number allocated to that sim card.,

My zte savvy phone is 1 month old and a week ago

Could be Billing, Airplane Mode, Data service is disabled, SIM card has been deactivated by the network provider's management system. I mean, unless we have a screen shot of a few places on this phone, I doubt anyone would able to help.

I would say start with the basics: Remove the SIM, the battery, for about a minute. Then try to insert them back to their proper places and give it a shot. From there, if you sim is the problem, the unit should give you a SIM card error, if it is not reading the SIM at all.

The fastest way to resolve this is to take a quick walk to your carrier's nearest office. They can swap your sim, and check your account for any new features changes or blocks.

SIM card registration failed

Hi,
There are several reasons that can cause this problem.
Sim card registration failed means it has been locked out by the service provider. Did you buy the phone NEW? If so take it back they will exchange it.If you bought it used, it has been reported lost or stolen before they sold it to you.
It is also possible that the "registration failed" message could be caused by a faulty SIM card not being correctly read by the phone.

Check if that SIM works in another phone (either an unlocked phone, or one that is on the same network), and also try another SIM in your phone - this would tell you whether the SIM or the phone is at fault in your case. A faulty SIM is an issue for your operator, a faulty phone would have to be repaired at a service point.

In countries like India, you need to register your SIM card. The cell phone company blocks the SIM if they don't receive the application within few weeks of activating the phone. Please check if this is case.
Take out the SIM and test it with a different phone, if the phone fails to read the SIM, get the SIM replaced. Few days ago this worked for a friend with a brand new Nokia handset here in Lagos, Nigeria.

Blackberry curve 8310 stopped working when sim card's inserted.

This is an unusual problem. I would take it to an experienced cell phone technician like Inovagent in your area and see what the expert says. Often places like this will offer a free evaluation and/or estimate.

I changed sim card, now they both display ''Insert SIM''

try taking out both cards and popping the battery on the phone.

Wait a few minutes and then turn the phone on with no card in it.

Turn it back off when it says no card found and insert the newer card and power it back up.

It seemed to keep a memory of the blank card.

SIM card registration failed

You might have filled up the memory to the brim and the phone doesn't have enough to switch on.
Try reformat to original settings. anything you stored on the phone will be lost.

How to reformat your phone, first turn it OFF. Press * 3 send at the same time and keep them pressed while you turn the phone on.
Give it time to work.

Remember, do not let go the 3 keys until you see the formatting screen.
After a few minutes when the process is over, your Nokia N70 will be back to the original delivered system.

Location of SIM card in Motorola Razr

Are you guys serious....

Verizon & Alltel (which happened to recently finalize the merge) use CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards.

AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. use SIM cards - wheter they are 3G networks, TDMA, etc.

PHONE IS POSESSED

Let me ask. Did you drop the phone by chance? If you did, you might have broken the sim card holder. Take out your sim and start up the phone. If the phone loads up fine, it is just as I said, the sim holder. If not, I have no idea.
