I just bought an AKAI LCT2765TD (refurbished)LCD flat panel television. I want to attach it to the peerless ST 640P universal tilt wall mount. They recommend this one for my model. Question is, where on the back of the t.v. do I attach the brackets to? I see 4 holes that I believe is attaching point, they have no screws inside them either, so it is not a point of affixing the back panel. Problem is, the screws that the peerless wall mount say to use with my model, are much too short to fit in the 4 holes I think they need to go in. I have looked all around on the internet to find a diagram of the back of my model, in which they suggest to affix the wall mount to. Can you please help? Thank you.
I want to remove my akai flat panel tv FROM the wall mount. The mount itself is attached to the wall by screws but it seems the tv had some type of nobs on the back that slid into slots on the mount. i cannot remember exactly how it was mounted 5 yrs ago. But the tv picture has blown and i need to remove it from the wall mount. I have tried lifting it to remove knobs on back of tv from slots but its seems locked. Can anyone help me with this problem.
The 4 screws that are commnly used are short because they are ususally wide in diameter. Besides if they are too long then they might damage the boards on the TV.
