I haven't used my camcorder for a while so I charged the battery for use. When i turned it on it keeps telling me that it's in safety mode and reattach battery. I did that several times and its not working. Can you help me?
Clean contacts on battery and camera if the battery is charging properly then get a new battery and charge this one and if same resaults then have camcorder repaired check if you have got power using power lead from mains adapter it maybe contacts problem with unit and external power.

Make sue the text side of the battery is facing up. Not the pure black side... I was having this problem until I decided to flip the battery around and it worked just fine...
This sounds similar to a problem I had. I brought the camera in under warranty and the repair shop fixed it. They shop text is cryptic.
Problem: Camera light keeps flashing, not charge
Solution: Troubleshoot to intermittent switch block control, replace with new one, test OK.
This switch does not operate any function on the battery. It is simply used as a self reference tool. You can switch it to RED to tell yourself it’s charged and BLACK to tell yourself it’s un-charged.
