do you mean after 30 minutes the units was shut down, okay still their is a led indicator at the front or any blinking?. if still an indicator but not functioning you must check the power supply unit first of the unit. if it has any bulging parts like capacitor. if none it needs trouble shooting which need a tools like digital tester to isolate where the main cause came from.

Try different network cable and check. check if the Samsung HT-E5400 Blu Ray Home Theater [HT-E5400] has a reset option and reset it.

While "NO DISC" message appears on the display of main unit, hold the main unit's STOP button for longer than 5 seconds. "INITIALIZE" appears on the display and all settings will return to the default values.
Using the RESET function will erase all stored settings.

Try this procedure:

1) Unplug player from power socket (for 1min)
2) Connect plug to power socket
3) Using the remote, press POWER button to turn unit on.
4) Press DVD button to enter dvd-mode
5) Press the following remote buttons, in this sequence:
ENTER, 8, 4, 2, 6, 9, ENTER

If done correctly, your dvd should go into Standby mode.

6) Press POWER button to turn unit on.

This error means that you are trying to play a region-protected disc that is not in the same region as your player.

It is possible to "hack" the region on your DVD player by following these instructions:

I missed interpret your question,It might be the home theater is not design to to explore the ipod file system, in that case you may use the ipod display to surf the content.Try to use flashdisk, I think it can explore the content. Thanks!... I hope that helps let me in!
