Slow leak from the water dispenser

There is a slow leak from the water dispenser and I was wondering if this is something I could fix or if I have to call an appliance guy out. My plumber capped off the water line because even thought the leak is slow, the tray underneath doesn't seem to have a water collector.

A slow drip in water dispenser

This sounds like a sticking solenoid valve. When you depress the lever for you water dispenser it activates a valve, usually at the bottom back of the fridge. It might look something like this:

25380372-1h1xuof4er41rm4qkikzo3jl-4-0.jpg Sometimes they just burn out and stop working or the seal inside fails sometimes from particulates in the water. Some people put a pre-filter on the water hose that attaches to the fridge just in case. If you have a water filter inside your fridge this does not protect the solenoid. They are next to impossible to repair so a replacement is needed. Just go to Amazon or eReplacement parts and search for your fridge model number with the search terms "water dispenser solenoid". If you are mechanically inclined you can replace yourself or get an appliance tech to do it. It's a 15 minute job.

Water dispenser slow flow

Hmmm...does it have a filter? I wonder if it hasn't been changed in some time or if a piece of dirt/calcium has clogged the unit?

My whirlpool ed20db ice maker isn't making ice. Inlet tube is frozen solid

Thanks for the model number. The water control valve=> W10245167 Water Inlet Valve will need replaced when this happens. Problem allows water to leak slowly into the ice maker and fill tube can become solid very quickly, or very messy ice formations coming down from ice maker, Thanks John Tripp Appliance 911

Water leaks from dispenser

Most refrigerators that leak out of the water dispenser are caused by a faulty electronic water valve not closing all the way. This is if you have a slow drip that happens. Click Here for a link to a refrigerator post leaking from dispenser. Good Luck From David from Appliance Repair

I have an insinkerator hot water dispenser with stainless steel tank, and the tank is now leaking. I'm wondering if it can be fixed or needs to be replaced

Replace water heater if tank wall is leaking.
These things have short warranty period.
Stainless steel will theoretically last longer, but steel tank water heaters have replaceable anode rod to prevent rust-out.

Be sure to recycle the old metal.

Whirlpool ED27DQ water dispenser leaks after getting a glass of water, how do i fix this problem

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Slow draining water and leaking

It needs to be inspected by an appliance repair guy. Your water pump may have a loose coupling causing low pump pressure, or the path water takes out of the machine is blocked.
