Resetting the maintenance code display:
1.Entering the Tech.Rep.Mode
Procedure
a) Press the Utility key.
b)Touch Meter Count.
c)Press the following keys in this order : Stop - 0 - 0 -Stop - 0 - 1.
d)Select Tech.Rep.Mode.
2.Resetting the maintenance code:
M2 Waste toner box
Resetting procedure:
a)Enter the Tech.Rep.mode.
b)Select "Counter".
c)Select "Consumables".
d)Select the count of waste toner.
e)Press the clear key.
M3 Oil web roller.

THe Maintenance call is not a serious issue, as the machine can continue working without doing anything about it, but if it really bothers you, you must go into the service mode (utility, stop, 0, 0, stop, 0, 1) the go down to clear data-> yes-> total clear-> yes.. It should say total cleared. Turn the machine off and back on, and bob's your uncle. It's basically just a maintenance counters that need to be reset.

Maintennce M2

M2 means time to replace the Drum, Developer, Cleaning blade, Cleaning pad & Drum charge corona assy. ( consumables). After you replaced it go to Tech. rep mode. to reset the counter & do ATDC Adjustment ( it will stop after 2 mins.) . Turn off / On and good to go ;-)

You can clear it @ TECH. REP MODE --> Maintenance counter, but i advice you to replace 1st the consumables M2 means your consumables (Drum, Developer, Cleaning blade, Cleaning pad & Drum charge corona) already reach its life.

What is solution for konicaminolta 164 maitanance call m2

M2 Call service.Maintenance M2, M1 Call service errors.To remove this error do the following steps.
1-Press utility button on panel.
2-Now press these buttons one by one, Press Stop, then zero, again zero, then stop,then press zero.
3-its the code to get into service mode.
4-After pressing above mentioned buttons you will enter into service mode.
5-Now select service choice option.select it by pressing OK button.
6-In service choice option you will see Maintenance count option.
7-Select it by pressing Yes or OK button.
8-There will be three options 0,1,2.
9-Select 1, it will show a new menu, with numbers, now press C button to clear the counter.After the counter is cleared.Select 0 and press Reset button.

M2 -waste toner box need to empty.
Displayed to indicated that the Toner collect count of the consumables counter has reached the set count.To reset select Count in the Tech.Rep.mode and acces the Consumables screen.Select the count of toner collect and press the clear key to clear the count.Place the copier in the Tech.Rep.mode by pressing the following keys:Stop-0-Stop-1.

I have message call service(M2) so how to clear this problem

M2 message refer to consumables life end.Enter in service mode,select a counter and select consumables and read the counter.Change the consumables when indicated and reset the counter to 0.I hope you have KM Dialta 450 or Dialta 520.If you have other KM model please tell me a model type for more help.

M2 is a maintenance code, it is usually tied to one of the machines consumable products, drum, developer, or fuser rollers. These items should be checked before attempting to reset the code.
