My twins are getting ready to move to a toddler bed. Are there any special options for twin toddler beds or do I just have to buy 2 regular ones?

Hi, I've also got twins and I didn't find any great space saving solutions when I moved my boys to beds from their cribs. I did go with toddler beds rather than full beds with a rail as it saved a lot of space and also wasn't such a hard transition for them. I put their beds next to each other and used a double blanket rather than singles so that they felt closer to each other. Good Luck!

Can I fit inside my son's twin bed?

Usually, a twin bed is big enough to occupy both you and your son comfortably without invading his personal space, which comes in handy for snuggling with your child.

For how long can a twin bed be useful?

Different from a regular toddler bed, the twin bed can stay useful through high school and even more, unlike the toddler bed which is useless after the age of 3.

What kinds of toddler beds are there?

There are two main different types of toddler bed. One A is a small bed frame that fits a crib-size mattress and often comes disguised as a spaceship, or sports car. The other one is a twin-size mattress and bed frame and portable safety rails.

Are there special toddler beds just for boys? I'm moving my son out of his crib soon and wanted to make it fun for him.

Toddler beds are really just a mini version of our adult beds. But you can definitely buy themed beds these days and get your son something very funky if you have the budget. Check out this website that sells themed beds and has some really fun ideas for boys. http://www.toddlerbeds.com/themed-toddler-beds/971+4295112676.cfm

Is there any way I can convert the Ariel crib into a toddler bed?It was advertized as a 3 in 1 but now that I am ready to convert it I don't think it is...maybe it only converts to a double bed??

Per the companies website (storkcraft.com) it doesn't look like the Ariel is a 3 in 1 but a 2 in 1. The manual is here
http://www.storkcraft.com/docs/all/04588-43.pdf
and it mentions converting to a twin bed, but not to a toddler bed.

Possibly put the mattress all the way down and remove the smaller side rail for a 3 sided toddler bed. Make sure the frame is sturdy enough without the 4th side.

Delta luv jasmine 4852 crib 5-1......why no TODDLER bed instructions

Hello!
I understand your frustration as I have put many children's toys, cribs etc. together over the years. It appears that the extra piece that you will need will be a twin bed frame. It is not included.9b1e880.jpg

Can be a Jenny lind Evenflo Crib converted to a toddler bed?

i believe that the crib is one of the few that can not be, but I would definitely think about a twin bed since he is two and skip the toddler bed since both my kids were in their toddler beds for less then a year save your self the hassle and money get a twin bed, and for now just put the top mattress on and store the box springs (or merely wait to buy them until needed)
