try getting an R4DS card and download games from www.filestube.com if you dont want to repair it.
you can have 50+ games on an sd card and not have to lug around all those games anymore
listen,i'm confused on your question.but i'll still help.don't turn off your ds on and off.that may shorten the life,which means you'll spend more time charging then playing,also don't take out your game card while your ds is on.save your game,go to the main menu and turn it off.once it is off you can take the card out.if this is not helpful call the nintendo customor support center number 1-800-255-3700.
