I have a zs-s41p boom box that takes an ipod and CD. I'm not getting any sound at all. Radio, ipod or CD player. Help!

Its probably a lens failure, its quite common, try cleaning the lens,

if all else fails, try turning the unit upside down and load the disc, sometime this for some reason - resets the lens if slighty out but its not fact, just something i heard

Take it back end demand that they give you a refund, Or a different one, End make shure it is working properly before you leave the store,

You can get a replacement antenna at any Radio Shak. Take the portable radio with you to the store and they will help you find the right one and even install it at no extra charge.

Take the item to your local tv repair store, and I would suggest an estimate.

I don't believe there is an input on this boom box but if there is is should be on the back side and it should fit a 1.8 mm jack which plugs into the top of an ipod through the headphone jacks.

Hello, I had the same problem and I was about to return it to the store and finally figure it out...
The IPOD buttton wont work unless you really plug the IPOD in the craddle... I was thinking all the time that it was pluged, but it was not... You need to aligned it.. When you think is pluged look between the IPOD and the Boom box and you will have a better view... If you have the Classic IPOD like me, you will have to slide the plug on the boom box to the right... Try my friend....

in audio system you have three different levels.
1-mic level which is very small output level.
2-line level(like cd player output)which is higher than above.
3-speaker level is highest one which drive speaker and get sound out from it.
if you want to get control for number 1 and 2 you can use very simple sound mixer.(from radio shack-or other electronic store)
connect your sound source(mic-cdplayer)to the mixer and get out from mixer to amplifier.
