Dacor CPS 130 oven will not heat

I read the suggestion to reset the thermostat behind the door latch but this model does not seem to be made that way. Any other suggestions?

This model actually made this way. Sometime you can not see the thermostat because of the bracket in front of the door latch. When you remove grill panel under control panel you gonna see this bracket. It pulls out very easy. Behind the door latch you will see thermostat with red button on the middle. Before resetting this button make sure you disconnect electricity.

My dacor microwave convection oven won't turn or heat but but the exhaust, time etc. works.

I found the answer on other posts on this website and it saved me $500! I had the same problem with my Dacor Model ECD2278 double oven. After I ran the self cleaning the top oven would not come on and the lower oven ran almost double the temp that was set. To fix: disconnect power to the oven at the circuit breaker. Open the oven door. You'll see the grille/grate/steel cover in front of the door latch mechanism, and it should have about 4 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws then remove the grille cover. On my model the tiny red reset button was on the right side on top of a black plastic round piece which is about 1" in diameter. Press the little button down til it clicks.

Does not work after self cleaning.

Behind the door latch assembly there is a thermostat with a reset button on top.
When its tripped everything will appear to work, but just no heat in the oven.
Use a wooden spoon handle to reach behind the oven door latch and push down on the button.
Your oven should work after this point.

PCS 127 does not heat up. Fan and preheat start.

We were able to unscrew the plate that sits behind the latch. 6 screws I believe. Look towards the middle back-right side you will see a red switch. Click it twice. Before we put plate back we tested oven and it worked!!! Hope this info will help you. Dacor oven has been a real problem and I'm a kitchen designer. Will never recommend Dacor anything to my clients after many oven issues.

DACOR IS A PEICE ****

The hi limit thermostat probably tripped during self clean. It can be manually reset. Turn off the power and remove the grill under the control panel. There is a two wire switch behind the door latch press in the red button on the switch. Reassemble and turn on the power. If it works you can reset the cooling fan to run longer which could cure your problem. Press and release upper broil button, press and release the up arrow, then hold down the broil button until it reads COOL 000. Press the up arrow until it reads COOL 200. Press cancel. Done.

Our Dacor Millennia wall oven will not heat

There is a manual reset button behind the vent under the touch pad. Turn off the power. Open the door. Remove the vent. Behind the latch is a two wire switch. press the red button on it until it clicks. reassemble and turn on power. It over heated when the power went off by stopping the cooling fan.

Oven won't heat.

EUREKA! I found the reset button and my oven is heating as we speak. Ok, open the oven door. there is a thin panel with vents right at the door latch. Unscrew the (6) screws and pull off the panel. There is a red button on the left back behind the wiring. GOOD LUCK!

My Dacor wont heat, broil or convection after self cleaning. No heat but everything else works The bake, broil, and convection elements on my Dacor CPS130 electric wall oven will not heat.  The oven has...

like another person stated-from the front behind the door, take off the 6 screws and the cover by the latch. there is an "oven hi temp limit switch" It is crome with 2 heavy black wires connected to it. On the back side of this is a small red button which will reset the limit switch. I had the same issue (everything worked except the any of the heating elements) and quickly resolved.

My Dacor wont heat, broil or convection after self cleaning. No heat but everything else works

I also have a Dacor Model PCS130. This solution worked AND saved me from spending $50-$105 for a service technician to come out just to look at the problem. The high temperature sensor tripped when I kept the door open part way while broiling (never listen to friends who don't have the same oven as yours). Afterwards, I couldn't get the oven to go above the prebake temperature of 135°F using any of the settings (bake, broil, convection bake, etc...). I called Dacor customer service and they told me about the high temperature sensor but wouldn't say how to reset it. They suggested I call a third party technical service company and gave me their numbers. But, I'm glad I found this site... All you have to do is open the oven door and you'll see the grille/grate/steel cover plate where the door latch sticks out of. If you look inside, you can see the electronics that operate the door latch as well as the temperature sensor unit a little farther back. You can even see the RED reset button. But, it's a little too far back for you to press it without removing the cover plate. 6 screws is what holds my cover plate in place. Once that's off, you can reach in and press the RED reset button (I pressed it twice just to make sure) and you'll hear it click. Screw the cover plate back in place. Close the oven door and test it out. It took my oven about 5 minutes to heat up past 135°F so I was unsure if the problem was fixed or not during that time. But, once the oven heated up sufficiently, the temperature began climbing fairly quickly and I was able to breath a sigh of relief. It works! This is such an easy fix, I don't know why Dacor customer support doesn't just tell us how to do it ourselves instead of paying for a service tech to come out and do the same thing. Even better, maybe they should make the reset button more easily accessible (like on the control panel) if they're concerned about people getting in and messing up the other electrical connections when trying to reset the high temperature switch. Computers are far more technically advanced than your oven and THEY have reset/reboot buttons right in front.
