go to settings, select connections, select gprs, create new connection , give it any name ,enter next select gprs cellular,enter next it will ask for apn type apn received from your operator leave user name and password blank. close connection and try after doing a soft reset.
call customer care if you dont have apn(acess point name ) for you mobile
Please clarify the issue clearly. I think this the error you are getting when you are trying to connect your phone to GPRS. Reasons could be you did not activated GPRS Services on your mobile or you dont have GPRS Settings on your phone. Please activate any GPRS Plan on your phone or get settings for using GPRS on your phone.
Check the settings in usb/bluetooth settings. Ensure the gprs device connected to the computer perfectly.And ensure the access points are to be right filled in computer

this is how you do it with GPRS
REG HACK - Turn off GPRS totally (and back to working state) without going to settings
1: You need a Registry editor ( eg. Resco Explorer... there are freeware registry editors too )
2: Find the registry key

under that , you should see you GPRS settings , for example , mine 's
OPTUS GPRS Internet , OPTUS GPRS MMS etc , pick the right one and
export it to the *.REG file, and name it to something like " GPRS
ON.reg "
4: Modify the setting inside ( for example OPTUS GPRS Internet ) , and
change the Enabled value from 1 to 0, then export it to GPRS OFF.reg
use the GPRS ON /OFF .reg to toggle between GPRS always off and on when required.
