It means the trailer is too warm for the thermostat to work - above 90 degrees inside. Take some ice and put in ziplock bag - place over thermostat and cool it down. Unit will start working when thermostat senses it is BELOW 90 degrees. FAULTY DESIGN.
If this is a brand new 2012 RV then you should have paperwork in one of the cabinets inside. There should be an instruction manual for your A/C unit that will tell you what that error means. You should also have a warranty on the whole RV including the A/C unit and should take it to the dealer for repair or replacement.
