Voice stuttering voice stutters when speaking names/turns

Hi Guys,

This is a problem with the application v8.300
if you are using a map v8.XX or higher you will need to wait for the next appilcation update which should fix this.
if you are using a map vv7.XX or lower, you can remove the 8.300 application from your device and download v7.481 by updating your tomtom again, this will revert your application to an earlier version which you can use until the next application is released.

TomTom Home now has a fix which corrects the stuttering problems with the computer voice needed for the 'text to speech' function on the GO720. Simply plug your device into your computer and have it connect with your computer. You should automatically see a large fix available which will correct the problem. Download it as I did, and the problem is corrected.

Did you select Text To Speech (TTS) one?  If the voice doesn't have (TTS) it won't speak street names.

Grab your GPS and USB cable and bring to your computer. Navigate your browser to Garmin's Web Updater site and follow the directions on the page.

This process will identify and download the latest firmware for your particular GPS. You may also be presented with additional / updated voices files, too. You should make sure your GPS has the latest files installed by opting to download and install the newest versions shown to ensure correct GPS operations
