to rectify this problem you will have to replace few capacitors in the power supply circuit. Caps to replace are C16, C17, C21, C26, C27, C32, C47. Be very careful with two screws located under the heat sink. DO NOT MIX THEM WITH THE REST OF THE SCREWS.
Hey I have a DVR50 which appears to have given up the ghost. Its probably beyond economical repair but I'm gonna try the service centre later today. If you have any trouble getting a new remote I'll gladly send you mine if I have to scrap the DVR50. I'd rather someone get something out of it. Just pay the postage and thats fine. [email protected]
I have the same problem. I have been in contact with Jamo Denmakr and Norway. They are aware of the problem. There are two issues/answers: 1 If the DVD your're playing has scratches reading error accumulate and then audio sync problems occur. (My meaning is lo quality DVD drive). You might overcome this by reburning the divx file to a new disc to avoid read errors. 2 The DVD drive itself is defective and should be replaced. Warranty should cover this of course. I do receive my DMR-61 this week after DVD drive change. I hope this will fix it...but I don't believe so. Crossing my fingers.
Hi I have jamo Dvr50 system and it has been frozen since yesterday. I have power down few times but nothing is happening. It comes on and panel lights up but that is all.
To change the region perform the following actions:
Power on Player /Open/ (/eject/), then on remote /stop/ then /9735/ and then go to /setup/ and choose no region.
It should know play all disks.
