This is usually due to the BIOS/Clock/CMOS battery dying. If the battery is dead, it won't start up at all.
Check out YouTube for instructions on opening your model, and replacement batteries are available at just about any Radio Shack, or online at various places. These guys may have them, too: http://www.headgapstore.com/
As this is a month old I can tell you if the Ident is right a Blueberry Ibook is not a couple of months old, its around 10 years old. If this is just new to you, the possibility is that the power adapter has failed. Remove the battery from the bottome and wiggle the cord in the laptop while holding the power button down. If you hear a chime, either the jack or the cord is no good. If not you need to get the cord tested. If you have a meter you can do this, if not you have to take it to someone or buy a replacement.
It would be very difficult to open up the imac to retrieve the disc as the CD drive is totally enclosed and would probably result in it not be functional after removing the disk. Have a look at the following article on the apple website http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3007?viewlocale=en_US as it does indicate that the slot loading imac does have a hole for paperclip ejection. You could also try opening up disk utility and and clicking on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject. Hope this helps.
I'm thinking that your battery in the iMac is dead or very close to being dead. Or your power cord is no good anymore or your power supply is on the verge of being dead. Hope it helps.
