There are three main types of resistances, the fan resistance used
to provide resistance with air they push as you pedal. The second type is the
belt resistance which uses a belt that runs through a brake providing
resistance for the exercise bikes. The third type is the magnetic exercise bike
which provides resistance which can easily be adjusted while riding the bike.
In most exercise bikes, you can control the resistance and the time. You can choose the resistance level and the duration of the workout.

The resistance on the Proform 4 RT exercise bike is too much even at the first level even though I am a seasoned exercise bike user. How can this be corrected?
