Power LED comes on, but no Display, no output

Most unit have RCA outputs that go to an amp.. There are sometimes a mute wire in the harness that goes to the control section. You need to have the service manual to work on these as there are few standards of wiring. Any home integrated amp or receiver should be able to handle the signal once it comes out to supply to speakers. Car players are many times full of broken solder joints. I looked for a picture of the unit but it must be old enough to not have much support.

Unplug your refrigerator for 10 min. then plug it back in. It should come back on so you can reprogram it to your liking. If It fails to go back to default settings and operate normally, you may need a visit from a service tech.

Right click on desktop, go to 'graphics options' and then to 'output to'. Go to 'clone displays' and select 'monitor + built-in display'
It helps to have the TV plugged into the VGA port on your notebook before you turn that on.

This Post is UNBELIEVABLE!! I have a ALESIS PROLINEAR 820 Monitor that just in the last year HAS THE SAMEEEE EXACT PROBLEM ... it powers on TURNS green but all you can hear is some faint white noise coming from the tweeter ANDDDDD to top it off My Volume knob on the back doesn't cut off anymore it just turns all the way around and around JUST LIKE YOURS ... I SURE hope you get this message update bc I'd like to know what the outcome of yours was, !! Bc whatever the problem yours had , mine obviously has the same identical problem !!! TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible. Does it?

6 flashes of the led light is an error code and the unit will not fire-up unless isolated the faulty parts.
To confirm if it is the real fault, unplug the unit from the outlet for 15 minutes and then plug it back in and check if the symptoms still persist.
Your unit has a self diagnostic screen that can be access by pressing in rapid sequence "Display", "Channel 5", "Volume (-)", "Power" on the remote control while the unit is in standby mode or the led light stops from blinking.

Self diagnostic screen will be display. Error code will be display together with numerical "0" means no fault detected and "1" means fault detected.
You will see "6 : LOWB with a numerical "1" on the screen, this is an error code for 6 flashes of the led light.

After you've confirmed that the the error code is "6 blinks/ LOWB error code", then the G1 board (Power supply board) is faulty. LOWB error code means that there's a malfunction on the 6Volts output of the G1 board.

To isolate the fault on the G1 board, you must have a skills on electronics troubleshooting, soldering and desoldering parts on the board, have necessary tools and test instrument. If you can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, don't worry, there's a DIY solution so that you can save money for the service fee of a TV technician. You may replaced the entire G1 board(part no. A-1087-323-A), this is more convenient if you are going to do-it-yourself because no troubleshooting and soldering required. I would advice you to obtain the board from your nearest Sony service center because this board is currently not available online.

Is your girlfriend's television higher resolution? If so, the ps3 may be configured to output a signal that is too high for your mitsubishi. With the ps3 off, insert either the component or the rgb to the back. The turn on the main ps3 power switch so that the red led turns on. then hold down the 'power on' button. it will beep initially, then beep after about 3 seconds. This simply resets the output to the connected cable in a normal resolution.

If this fails go to settings>video output> and play around with the settings there. note you may have to do this on ur girlfriends tv to be able to see what you're doing...

Sounds like an amp issue. Does the ohms reading of the sub match the amp? typically this is what kills amps.
