Used a PIN to unlock my device but my device came up with the above error after wiping up all the data from it.
It is now showing Jum error 513 and nothing else on the screen.
Kindly assist.
It is JVM error 513... This indicates all the data and application have been deleted from the device. However, not to worry as it can be very easily restored.
You will have to re-install the Blackberry handheld software and restore the data from the backup file (if available). To re-install, you have to connect the device to your computer and run desktop manager > application loader. In case you do not have the desktop manager and the handheld software, check with your service provider and these softwares should be available for download at their website.

Go to the blackberry site and download the blackberry desktop manager. After this must have been downloaded on your computer, please run it and open it.
Connect your blackberry to your computer and initialize the Blackberry Desktop Manager and it would show connected once it is connected to your blackberry. You can click on the menu and go ahead to click on add and remove software to reinstall you device software.

the password i kept typin in was wrong on my blackberry curve, so it started wiping everything and now it says JUM error 513 and it wont get into my phone,the only way it turns off is by taking the battery off,i tried reseting it and it goes to the same screen? what can i do to get in my phone?
Unfortunately to fix this JVM 513 error you will need to either restore a full backup via desktop manager, or download and reinstall the Blackberry handheld OS from your carrier.
