I had exactly the same problem with mine. Called for warranty repair, as it was only 3 months old. The repair person swapped out the motherboard, and it's been good for 2 years now.

Defective LED back lights strips, or damaged EEPROM on main board. I will try a main board first, if you do nor have a TV LED strip tester.

i joined up to answer this question took me awhile to find the post...main board. I had the same tv do the same thing swapped out the main board still works today repaired it year and half ago... is the screen lite up white'ish or blue'ish....

Can you list the modules that were replaced thus far without resolving the problem? Also, what exactly is the problem? Does the set work sometimes and not others?

i have the same problem and find that if i freeze then unfreeze the screen it works
