The red light on my Aastra phone 9133i does not blink when I have a voicemail message

Phone your provider and ask them to turn on the indicator light. If you hear beep beep beep when you have a message they have it set wrong. Tell them you have a red light on your phone. They just set it incorrectly . Happens all the time hope this helps

Aastra voicemail

This Depends on your providers system . If yo go and retrieve your messages and hit 4 3 2 2 this will get you to nowhere you can record a message for incoming calls. If you want to change you message for when some calls you and you are on the phone you would do the same as above but hit 4 3 2 1. That is where you change your "on the phone message" never put a date in that one. Just record " hi I am on the phone at the moment please lease a message at the tone" Hope this helps

Activate message indicator light on

Call your provider and ask them to turn it on. They probably forgotto include that. If you pick up and there is a repetitive busy sound the company has you set for sadder. Tell them you have an indicator light hope this helps

I have a aastra 390 phone, the message light keeps flashing when no messages

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.
