Clothes are still wet after spin cycle

Brand new Maytag Ensignia. I washed for the first time and thought the clothes were wetter than normal. Continued to do the laundry and then realized for sure that after the spin cycle the clothes were filled with water and soap residue. I put on the additional spin cycle and it did no better. They were still just as wet. Tried to find another washer but they didn't have one and repair man can't come for a wk. Very upset.

Same problem, however, have checked drain & this is clear.

All water is out of tub after spin cycle stops, but water starts dripping into the tub from the supply valve at the top so that clothes are wet if they sit after spinning. Solution is to put back into spin mode, after clothes start spiinning, interrupt the spin mode and quickly remove them before more water can run in.

After cycle is complete, water drips from above and will fill the tub back up. Just started happening last week. GOtta get those clothes out fast. Whats the part that needs to be fixed? Maytag Ensignia.

Possibly not a machine fault. if drain is connected to sink plumbing, remove the drain hose and see if it pumps out into a bucket.

I have a maytag frontload washer 2000 series that will not start spin cycle won't even try unless the washer is empty. no error codes showing, even after I do diagnostics. help...wife is miffed..

After determining that the washer is plugged in, the drain hose is free from kinks, the "No spin" option is not selected and the washer door is securely closed, the cycle should be reselected to see if the washer will spin. If this does not solve the problem, it is advised to contact a trusted repair service. Problems with the lid switch assembly, drive belt, drive pulley, drive motor, tub bearing or transmission can also cause a Maytag washer not to spin. These repairs should be carried out by a professional.
If the washer is spinning but clothes are still wet at the end of the cycle, one should ensure that the washer is not overloaded or unbalanced and that the correct wash cycle is selected. Delicate or handwash cycles spin at a lower speed, resulting in wetter clothes

Why does the Drum spin erratic even without clothes in it?

might be a warped spin basket or the dampers could need to be replaced. could even be a bad spin bearing. if it was bearing, normally would be associated with a loud noise during the spin cycle though.

Maytag ensignia makes a great deal of noise during rinse cycle

"If you dont have a noisy spin cycle and the noise you hear is only on the rince cycle, dont be worried, as this is totally normal. Water sprays onto the drum while the spin cycle is in progress and rewets the clothes to allow any existing soap to be desolved. This noise is in effect the water hitting the drum during the rince part of the cycle.

Thor laundry system won't dry clothes I have a thor no venting washer/dryer combo machine, that has been working fine for years. Suddenly it is not drying clothes and instead, clothes are soaking wet...

I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

Spin cycle not working like it should

If the washer doesn't reach it's proper spin speed, the clothes may be wet at the end of the cycle. Since you have replaced the belt, it could be that you have a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Check for damage to the pulley and shaft and for free play. Also make sure that there are no clothes or foreign objects caught between the inner and outer tubs or something causing friction on the drive train. Hope this helped.

Spin cycle not working properly

On the transmission there are two shift arms. One shift arm controls the agitator and the other shifts to spin the cloths. If the washer has been making a "clicking" sound when it trys to spin, the solenoid that shifts the spin shift arm is not catching and the drum will not spin. The other possibility is the spin clutch is slipping and make a "grinding/ratcheting" sound. Neither, unfortunately are inexpensive to fix.
If you can describe the sound and when it occurs, I might be able to get closer.
Let me know.
