Will a ryobi 18 volt charger replace a coleman powermate battery charger?What's your problem?

If they both show charged, they are unlikely to be incorrect. You can test the contacts of the batteries with a test meter, and you can also test the charger output.

If they don't work in a tool, the tool may have failed. Having said that, they do appear to have some history of this. Check out the videos.

After looking at the manual for your charger, it looks like most of the Ryobi chargers like the P113, P114, P117, P118 will charge your battery. The connector on the battery looks the same as the P103 and P104 used here in the U.S.

Typically, nothing will fit it except a Coleman battery, but you can try. Be sure to test before you buy, and you will need to be really sure the voltage is the same. Be blessed.

It could be a defective battery or it might just be normal for the charger and it lets you know its charging. Look in the manual for the tool and it should tell you why it blinks and turns off. If you dont have the manual i'm sure you can look it up online.

most recommend taking the battery off the charger and you don't have to unplug the charger all the time.

I'm afraid not. It will damage the battery if you try. You'll need to get the correct charger.

try and call Pramac corp thy purchased parts of co of powermate, thy my be able to get you in the right direction 800-445-1805. also did you check your fuss in the unit. good luck

Have you tried Ryobitools.com they have accessories and also a dealer locator that you can find them. If no luck let me know and give me the model number and I will try and track some down for you
