I am having a problem accessing a website that requires Internet Explorer and I can barely get in and for only short periods of time

To help you troubleshoot the issue about accessing the website through using internet explorer browser, please find the instructions given below:
- First of all, try updating and installing latest Windows Update.
- To do these, click on Start button and then type 'Windows Update' in the search programs and files box.
- Select Windows Update and now select 'check for updates' on the screen.
- If windows updates are available, click on 'Install update'.
- After completely installing the Windows Updates, restart the computer once and see if you are able to access that particular website through internet explorer browser.
If issue persists, it is recommended to install latest version of internet explorer browser. Please follow the steps as given below:
- Open internet explorer browser, click the 'Tools button' (click 'Help' in the Menu bar), and then click 'About Internet Explorer'.
- Select the 'Install new versions automatically' check box, click Close.

The minute i open my mail it closes saying to report the complaint

This can be caused by a corrupt account file.
Open Windows Explorer, right click on your "C" drive and select "Properties". A window will pop up.
Select "Tools", "Error Checking"
Select "Check for errors", "Start"
It will then tell you drive "C" is in use and offer the choice to schedule a disc scan when Windows restarts next, select this, click OK and restart.

When Windows restarts, it will do the scan automatically. Just sit back and wait for Windows to load and check to see if your email problem has been corrected.

I HAVE INSTALLED VISTA ULTIMATE RECENTLY MY PC EXIT FROM ALL THE applications AND DISPLAYS A window THAT WINDOWS EXPLORER HAS STOPED WORKING

This is quite a serious problem but you do have an easy option if you can remember when this started to happen, It sounds very much like you installed something which is causing this problem. try system restore & see if that helps otherwise you will have to boot in safe mode to back up any files onto external storage & start from scratch,

I click on internet expl. it does nothing.

Might be the IE is corrupted so insert the OS disk and then click on add or remove windows components and select internet explorer and reinstall it.

Either download it from microsoft on any other system and install it

Well when i login to widows the screen stays black and then a box comes up and says (wuauclt) has stoped working windows is collecting more information about the problem then it says windows cannot solve...

WUAUCLT -- Windows Update Automatic Update client somehow has "crashed". It runs everytime that you restart Windows. It connects to Microsoft to look for the latest Security Updates to keep your computer protected and up-to-date. Start Internet Explorer. Click 'TOOLS' and click 'WINDOWS UPDATE'. Does this version of WINDOWS UPDATE run properly?

Closing Multiple Windows

Are you using internet explorer?

Internet explorer is unable to handle many windows open at the same time.

My suggestion is to use Mozilla Firefox which can be downloaded for free which is safer and has much fewer errors than IE. Please update me on the situation and what internet browser you are using and I will work with you until the problem is fixed.

Internet Explorer Closes

If your system wasn't set up to do MS Auto-update from the factory, I recommend you use it.
It is likely that the IE and possibly other Windows functions need one of the hundreds of tweaks MS constantly makes to try to keep their Edsel working properly.

Open your Control Panel from the misnamed 'Start' menu, click on Automatic Updates and check (or set) your settings.

BTW, lots of luck with your Compaq/HP laptop; I won't own another one nor service any HP system again.
