From what you have described, sounds like the sprayer arms are possibly loose or being held into place and can't rotate, by dishware.

SOURCE: Dishes not being cleaned properly - large portion of tablet still remaining in the bottom

I have a 4114 and the problem was not enough water entering the washer. You can check by adding extra water (kettle full) to the washer just after start. ( opening the door just suspends the cycle) If your dishes clean well then you will need to adjust the pressure level switch to allow more water in. There is an adjustment screw on the switch which needs to be turned 1/4- 1/2 a turn. This puts more tension on the spring so more water needs to enter before the switch is activated. On the 4114 the switch has 2 adjusters. It is the taller of the 2 that require adjusting. Do little turns until the water level just covers the filters.

SOURCE: have a trouble: dish-washer will not drain.

I just moved into a new house and builder had provided a dish washer drain just below my kitchen drain line.

DIsh washer install was done by me, every thing worked out OK except dish washer would not drain after a wash cycle.

Cause: drain provided by builder was blocked and needed a circular small cut before mounting drain hose over it.

Loud sounds

Many Frigidaire dishwashers come with the promise of being the "quietest dishwasher in its class," according to Frigidaire. However, a quiet dishwasher doesn't necessarily mean that the dishwasher is silent, as some noises are normal. It can take some troubleshooting at times to determine if a noise coming from the dishwasher is typical or if it indicates a larger problem Listen for the sound of water filling and draining throughout the wash cycle. These sounds are normal and do not indicate an issue.

  • 2 Pay attention to the drain motor, which operates at the beginning of each cycle. This noise should be fairly quiet and should not sound like a loud, grinding or banging sound.
  • 3 Note that the sound will change when the wash cycle moves between the lower and middle spray arms. This sound should be temporary and fairly quiet.
  • 4 Look for hard items in the dishwasher grinder or filter if a loud crunching, buzzing or grinding sound is heard. The dishwasher can typically grind up these items within one or two cycles, but the item may be lifted out and discarded to eliminate the sound.
  • 5 Remove the bottom rack and spray arms from the bottom of the dishwasher if there is a loud noise coming from the dishwasher that does not resolve itself. Look inside for the impeller, which is round and spins. Remove any debris that may be clogging up the impeller or pump.

The top spray arm is not turning as best i can tell. bottom one is.. frigidaire model # fdb1050rec2. please help! thank you

If your dishwasher does not fill up with the correct amount of water the top spray arm will not get the water pressure it should.
The water level should be just under the heating element.

Remove the drain end. Keep it above little . Check whether the water is retained inside the washing machine. If water is retained- check your drain valve in the machine. it is parmenantly open or having improper closure.

    TOP RACK NOT CLEANING DISHES

Possible that the motor impeller has good particles in it, causing poor water pressure, which would be most evident on the top rack. You would have to remove the spray arm, then the filter, then the torx screws to get at impeller....unfortunately, that model of dishwasher isn't the greatest in the first place for washing, since it only has the one spray arm.

Frigidaire dishwasher model CDB@!%BXWO does not clean dishes properly

If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

    **Water temperature Note***

To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

Concerning the Film.(Disregard if this is not an issue)

This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there, Try Dishwasher Magic.

Frigidaire GLD2445RFS0 dishwasher has developed a door leak

Make sure the lower spray arm ends (there are 3 arms) are snapped together all the way. One of ours had come apart and was spraying water out the end of the one arm. It was enough to "spurt" water past the plastic gasket at the bottom of the door. I snapped the arm back together and BINGO. Free fix.

Frigidaire Dishwasher - Spray Arm Not Working

When a dishwasher has been checked for obstructions in the sump area and the spray arms can spin easily (by hand) plus the spray arm holes are not blocked, you end up with either a broken impeller or a failing wash pump motor.
