The solution George gave you is unsafe, not enough info and misspelled..But he does have the right idea...If you don't have the parts yet be sure and inspect the plugs for shipping damage before you leave the store..(I have seen some new plugs that are cracked, broken tips and damaged threads and you don't want to see that after you get home and if you install a damaged plug it could do more damage to other engine components..)..get some hand cleaner, spark plug boot lube,2 very small packs of anti-seize,safety glasses, rubber gloves.(I assume you have the correct tools..If not you better get a good 3/8 ratchet 9 inch extension/3inch extension and a good spark plug socket that fits your certain plug..Be sure the socket has the rubber inside of it to grip the plug so you will be able to thread the plug in by hand without it falling out of socket or getting it cross-threaded....Get the parts clerk to gap the plugs unless you want to do it..they will come pre-gapped but no one can trust that..Get home, park car ,set park brake, raise hood an let engine cool down.Get safety glasses..Disconnect negative battery cable in case you drop a tool hitting the alternator or something else that could spark and cause a fire..Begin....Remove first plug wire..twist boot left to right while pulling at the same time..(Spark plug wires are easy to come apart...be careful.)...remove wire ,blow air into plug area before removing plug to remove contamination /particles...remove plug..inspect plug for irregular wear and discoloration..(I can tell you what makes the plug look good or bad but without knowing Telling you all of them would take awhile..) get new plug and lightly coat threads with anti-seize..install plug into special socket, make sure it won't fall out..use extension..,slide it in to position and slowly turn clockwise..watch and hold it straight as possible.apply a little downforce..keep turning until you can tell it is in place tighten to about 18lbs to 20 lbs..(Tight but rather a tight snug..)..DONT OVERTIGHTEN !!!..rub boot lube inside of plug wire boot and install wire..push wire on with good pressure listen closely for a slight click and 1 is done...Do all the other plugs exactly like the first..connect battery..check for any tools left under hood, start engine and test drive..........Hope this helps.....Brooks/Metalpoet...

1997 Lincoln Continental my man took a spark plug to look at it and put back, and now were driving ask the car feels weird its putting, very wobbly, its none of the fluids.what is it. O and the check...

Check to make sure that the spark plug wire was put on the spark plug all the way. You need to gently push down until you hear a little click (the metal in the spark plug wire and the metal on the spark plug connecting). If that doesn't work, check to make sure the spark plug is screwed in all the way.
Its also possible that when the spark plug was taken out it was damaged. If none of the other stuff works, try replacing the spark plug.

Not getting no spark to the plugs

put one of your spark plugs out and put the wire on the end and touch it on the motor and have someone start the car and if you see a spark the that is good you might have a couple bad spark plugs you might have a couple bad spark plug wires try that though and if there is no spark then ist best to just get new spark plugs and new spark plug wires

How to change spark plugs?

First go buy the new spark plugs. While you are there ask the gap of the plugs, they may need to be adjusted before you install them. If so use a gaping tool to adjust the gap. One at a time remove the spark plug wire and remove the old spark plug with a spark plug socket. Turn it counter clockwise. Pull it out and put the new spark plug in and firmly tighten it, dont over do it though you dont want to strip it out. Put the spark plug wire back on and move to the next until the job is complete.

No spark at plugs on my 1991 volvo 240

Did you replace the plugs? How hot is the spark from the coil thin and blue? if it is big and orange it is a weak coil and should be replaced. If it is good try an other wire from a different car (do not put a spark plug in it) and see what the spark looks like if good put the plug in it and check the spark again if this is a good the wires are bad

Ecotec 2.2 plug removal

You want to do it? I'm guessing spark plugs? Pull spark plug boots off, its going to be tougher then you think, they are on there pretty good, then with a long 3/8 extension, and a ratchet, and a 5/8s spark plug socket remove the spark plug. Reverse order to put in. Make sure you put anti seeze on the threads when you put them back in, and do not mix up the spark plug wires.

1989 Honda Prelude won't start

I suspect that your spark plug wires or your distributor is going out. Check your spark wires and distributor. To do that take out #1 spark plug wire from the spark plug. Next take out your spark plug then put it in the spark plug wire. Then turn on car and take a look at the spark plug to see if it's getting a spark. Do this with all the spark plug. If it is your spark plug wire I would replace all of them.
