The camera does not add the date and time to the image itself, but rather saves it in the file as it does other information.

When printing a picture you can select that you wish to add a date/time stamp.

Date stamp function on Sony Cybershot S750 camera

This Camera doesn't have the feature to superimpose the date on the pictures. By using the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software, you can print or save the pictures with date.
Refer the following link to use the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software to print or save the pictures with date.

Can't find how to set date/time stamp on picture

By default Olympus cameras do not print the date on the images when they are downloaded to a PC. Olympus does not include this functionality because they feel that it detracts from image quality. There is a function of the camera called print order that you can set that it will print the date on the images but this is only if you take the card to a photo processing store. However if you use the Olympus Master software and print the images that you have previously transferred there is a check box in the print setting window that you can add the date and or time to the printed image.

Canon sd 750 how to put the date in the picture?

here is the solution:
The date and time can be included on the pictures taken only with the camera in postcard mode. You must also activate the date stamp option in the menu.
To set the camera into postcard mode, press the [Func.] button on the camera, then use the [arrow down] key to go down to the last option in the menu, and there you can choose the [Postcard mode]. Press [Func.] again to exit the function menu.

Date and time function

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Display date & time on developed pictures

When you say it's displayed on the screen, do you mean while it's in playback mode, it's embedded there?

If not, you will have to put your resoltion in postcard mode and make sure in menu that your date or date/time stamp is turned on.

To get to your resolution settings, turn camera on to shooting mode, hit function/set button and arrow down to the bottom left corner where it will show your resolution (L,M,S, etc) and this is where you will find postcard mode.

This setting is the only one you can use date time stamp and will show up in prints, but only good for 4 x 6 prints, anything larger will not be good resolution, it will be pixelated because it's only enough quality for a small print.

Hope this helps!

Printing pictures with date

Not all cameras have this facility - looks as if yours is one that doesn't. If this function is so important to you, why did you not check when you bought the camera ?
