My LG 37" LCD turns on in black and white. after 20 minutes of so if you turn the tv off and then on, it comes on in color. why should an expensive tv need to warm up? one other thing, when the picture is black and white (for regular channels during the first 20 minutes of bad picture) the high def channels come in in color. i know its not my cable connection too. thats what the dummo's at the lg costomer service line said. its still under warrenty. anyone heard of a similar problem?
If it is still under warranty, go out and take it to the repair shop now! this could turn out to be an expensive repair if ou have to pay for it. Your problem is the digital board with the tuner on it or the processor board for the signals, like the video and such. This could need the entire boards as most maunfacturers do not supply too many repair parts for these sets. Good Luck
Your tv has a factory defect take it back to the store you bought from if it is under warranty.how ever there was a bad manufacturing of tha tv the components in the video circuit has some lose connection they need to be resolder.if you take it to a repair shop the warranty will be void.goodluck.
