You will need a technician to remove the rinse aid dispenser and empty the windex out. Or just buy a rinse aid that can be hung from the upper rack. The amount of liquid released from the dispenser is a small amount and I don't think it would cause a problem.

Where is the soap dispenser and jet dry dispenser on a Danby countertop dishwasher (with window)

I've got one of these countertop washers at home. The twist off dispenser you're talking about is for the jet dry (at least on mine) and there should be an area on the right side of the door for your soap. Hope this helps!

Whirlpool gold diswasher - sudddenly dishes/glassware/silver are all cloudy. rinse aid doesn't help. have tried running machine empty to "clean out" pipes, etc. plz help.

alot of people think the rinse aid is full but, its not. how to properly fill unit.
1. open compartment
2.fill with jet dry
3.close compartment
4.lower and raise door 3 times
5. open compartment
6.add more jet dry
7. lower and raise the door to see if it still looks full.
the reason for this is there is air in the dispenser and this process will take out the air to be completely filled the dispenser.

Bosch dishwasher leaves water at the end of its cycle cleaned filter and the impeller seams free and not blocked

check for over sudzing. dont use a cascade with jet dry in it. use regular dishwashing liquid and fill jet dry compartment. you can even jet dry level by turning the knob in dispenser.

Detergent accidentally put into rinse dispenser

You need to use something to siphon the detergent out of the dispenser. I have plastic syringes for this type of purpose. You don't use the needle attachment.

If you cannot fit the syringe into the opening, then you may try to use clear plastic tubing to syphon out the detergent.

Once the flow of detergent stops, you should then use warm water to rinse the residue. If you have the syringe, you could use it to force water into the dispenser.

This may take a little time, but it is better than trying to disassemble stuff!

Good Luck

Dawn in the Jet Dry Dispenser

It may not hurt the machine, but it leaves soap on the clean dishes. You can't really remove the reservoir without dismantling the entire door. it's pretty straightforward, but takes a little time and effort. If you're not prepared to dismantle the door to get to the reservoir, you -could- try cleaning/rinsing it out with a turkey baster and a small diameter piece of plastic tubing. Just suck everything out, then fill it with rinse water and suck that out as well. But you'd have to fill it with rinse water over a dozen times to really get it clean. Hope that helps. ;)
