Hi All, I have just purchased a Xerox DCs50 (DC12).
I cannot seem to get print jobs to the printer.
The IP address of the DC12 cannot be found on the network.
There seems to be lots of lights flashing just by the ethernet port on the inbuilt RIP but nothing happens.
Can I print via Serial/Parallel etc directly. I am using Mac OSX Leopard.
Thanks
You can't print via serial to it. You will have to check the settings in your rip to see what the ip address is. Lights will blink all the time to indicate it is on a network, its just not talking to it. Then you go into your add printers section click the + sign and it should come up in there if the ip address is in line with your mac ip
I want to know dc 12 ip address, where is ip address in dc 12

OK. I was curious because it is an XF machine. F denoting a fax.
Try in the print queue on the pc to spool the document first and then print to see if that helps.
I don't have access to the xerox documents (EDOCS) anymore but I would look at the memory. If you have one spare, swap it out to see if that helps.
Testimonial: "Haven't gotten the part in yet, but will give it a shot. It is nice knowing that you are on the right path and that there is someone out there to help"
