Question about Maytag MMV5165 Microwave Oven
Just installed this new microwave. It works for a while but error 13 comes on after about 3 minutes
E-13 - T1 Max time error (oven did not preheat properly). PCB assembly may need reset or may be bad.
The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.
If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.
Otherwise, Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty.I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

The power to the microwave goes off before the required cook time is up. The entire thing goes blank, no clock, no timer, no fan. Nothing works. Finally power restores itself in 20-25 minutes. Very frustrating to have food only 1/2 cooked and be unable to finish it. Is this perhaps a sensor problem??
