I got my iPod touch taken off me for 2 months and now when I turned it on it says it's disabled? What can I do to fix this!
SOURCE: 8GB iPod Touch Disabled
Thanks to everyone who provided solution inputs. I finally have my iPod back. The solution is: 1. Turn of your iPod. 2. While holding down the 'Home' button, connect to iTunes WARNING: Doing this will return your iPod back to original 'out of the box' settings and you will lose everything. On the bright side, you get a 'fresh' start and it will auto update to the most recent software version. Good luck!

Try turning off your ipod, holding the home button, and plugging it in, while still holding the home button, until a picture of the ipod cable appears pointing to the itunes symbol. this will reset you ipod, and you don't need the passcode to make it usable again.

you will have to restore your ipod to factory default settings in itunes.
or you can jailbreak the ipod with software like quickpwn.
Here is how to restore your ipod in itunes.
You will need to put the itouch in DFU/Recovery mode to get it to connect.

Home Button down for 5 second (do not release it)
Then
Press and hold the Power Button for approx 10 secs (count them out)
Your iPod
will reboot.
Release
the power button and continue holding the Home button for an additional 27secs.
You may
see the screen go blank or not.
Plug the
USB end into the computer with itunes open.
Your ipod
will mount in recovery mode.
Restore
it and Your all set.

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPhone or iPod touch
will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again. After
too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until
you connect to the computer you normally sync with. Note that starting
with iPhone 2.1 software, there is a setting to cause the device to
erase itself after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts. This
setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your
device on the computer that was used to originally sync the iPhone or
iPod touch so that you can reset your passcode and resync the data from
the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different
computer that was never synced to the iPhone or iPod touch, you will be
able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode but your data
will not be present.

Here is how you can do it. Make sure your ipod is connected to your itunes.
1. Turn power of.
2. hold the home button and the sleep/wake button for ten seconds.
3. let go of the wake button. ( keep holding on the the home button for another ten seconds)
4.?»¿ itunes will tell you that there is an ipod on recovery mode. and on the side a button should say restore.
