1996 cadillac seville power seat problems

If I am not mistaken, it is under the rear seat bottom cushion.

You were told correctly; it is located under the rear seat, driver side. The bottom seat cushion will have to be removed to access the block.

Hello: you can call/check with a auto re-cycle yard (junk yard) or a Cadillac dealer. I doubt if a auto parts store could help you but you could ask.

thats what it sounds like. i know the tank and trunk fuses are in fuise block under hood on drivers side

You just need to get the engine full of coolant. Disconnect the drivers side hose from the tee and fill motor full of coolant with a funnel until it starts running out of tee.while its cooled down.

Check the fuses/circuit breaker for the heated seats, check the switch but most likely it is the pad under the seat cover. This is a high failure item.

The fuse block is located next to the air filter on the driver's side of the engine. Lift the cover to gain access.

The Maxi-Fuses and relays are located next to the engine compartment fuse block on the driver’s side of the engine.

The rear fuse block is located on the front wall of the trunk behind the rear seat on the driver's side. Loosen the four trunk trim fasteners and pull the trim away from the fuse block to gain access.

Unless this problem has been slowly creeping up on you, I'm going to say you need to look at the fuel pump too.
