Hi, It seems color wheel problem in your tv that gets problem after some time and you hear high pitch noise along with picture flicker. Color wheel need to be replaced to solve this issue. Required color wheel is available with PartStore.com (click to view image of part and price info) and it is job of qualified tv repairman because light engine will take apart for that. This tv have a colors wheel.Now ur tv colors wheel it dead.The colors wheel is dead,no colors black&white,loud squiling noises,loud motor noises.All indication of the colors wheel is dead,spinning off of is axis,not function anymore.Hire a tv tech.for this.Not machanically incline,don't atemp to change the colors wheel ur selp.
Audio is only carried on HDMI and not DVI. You can get video only with this type of cable. HDMI to HDMI would work but not HDMI to any other connector. You can run a seperate dual RCA (red and white) to your system to get audio.
Hi, First of all what output/input are you using for video for the comcast box? Have you tried using a different output? When you connect a dvd player or a different source does it work? First thing is to figure out if its a problem with the tv or a problem with the box. If the tv works fine then you have to figure out the problem with the box or the connection between the two. once I have more information I can assist you further. Thank you, lee
It ended up being one of the connectors on the composite cable. I did not know that the different colors came through separate cables. I do now, Thanks.

You don't - you would have to replace the entire module unless you have an expensive smt station.
What you're describing is the logic main board and possibly the dmd board as well. Something we call a cascade failure. I'd strongly recommend you take it to a qualified shop and have them do the repair. I can assure you it won't be an easy task for the shop either...
