Need battery Where can I get the rechargable first generation russian night vision binocular battery,a nine volt won't fit in the tube?

I use a camera tripod . fits just fine.

Hello, there could be a number of problems but 90% of the problems with these Russian manufactured monoculars, binoculars, scopes is the the image intensifier tube. First they are cheaply made, they don't taken much abuse, and if any bright light such as, street lights, car lights, turn on the NV monoculars during the day light hours could and would total damage these Russian manufactured tubes.

I hate to tell you but there is a good possibility that the image intensifier tube is bad, sorry. Night Owl Optic and many other US companies use cheap Russian manufactured night vision devise to sell; of course, they make a huge profit on these NV devises.

There are a lot of countries in the world that manufacture NV monoculars and other NV devises. Some are good and most are just slap together.

If you want a good night vision monocular be prepared to pay top $$$ for them.
Made in the USA, Europe, England, and even in China.

List it on eBay as Night Vision Monocular and under condition: broken for parts.

Hello, Welcome to ATN Russian image intensifier tube. That right Russian. There is a good possiblity that Russian manufactured the hole binocular with ATN name and logo on it. Typically, this image tube are made to their standards and not to USA standards. There are a lot of countries in this world that manufacture night vision devises and there parts. I know that ATN didn't pay what you paid for this nice looking....yes, that what I said "nice looking" But that about all it is... You can send it back to ATN for repairs but it will new Russian parts to replace old Russian parts.

Now, check IR illuminate to see if it is working. This 1st gen Russian image tube are good up to 80-100 yards. I wish you all the luck. GB...stewbison

What type of trouble you have with your Red Star NV devise? If you are trying to search for the Russian manufacture. Then use this as you search "Manufacture image intensifier tubes" and "Manufacture of night vision scopes, monoculars and binoculars" The search engine will list the manufactures of these devises through out the world. stewbison

Yes, Rigel Ops is a Russian company. It manufactured NV devises. How old is the binoculars? Has it been droped or abused? If it has been droped a few time, then the image tubes can't take that type of abuse. The image tubes go bad. I don't have my shop up and working. Hello, Kalinka Baigish is Russian and they do make NV devises but China? Now, the Chinese do manufacture NV Image Intensfier tubes to Generation 2 but manufacture the hole night vision devise is new to me. Of course, about 1/3 of the world countries manufacture some sort of night vision devises or there parts.

Contact Night Vision Optics they sell these Russian night vision devise under the brand name: Night Vision Optic and they have a logo. There are only companies in the US that manufacture night vision stuff. Also, some of the US companies do use US image tubes and other electronic components, and maybe US optics are used. Hello, most of these night vision devises are repaired by the companies that offer to sell and service. It almost impossible to find someone other than the dealer to repair them. You try Morrision Optic they have big web page on the Internet. A little warning here. These companies they sell NV devises are not necessarily the manufacture of these NV devise. Russian make a lot of these NV devises for US NV companies.


I repair them also but it hard for me to get parts, and I can make other parts if I can find some dealer that will sell me parts For a 1st generation cheap Russian image intensifier tube will cost about $175 each and sometime I can get them cheaper. GB....stewbison

Hello, it seems that there are quit a few people that have ATN products that will destroy it self just setting on a shelve in the closet. I sorry to mention this to you. This ATN Night Jaguar Binocular are manufactured in Russia.


The biggest problem is those Russian image intensifier tubes. They are manufactured without any type of quality control, also they are made with very thin glass, and what is the quality of this Russian made glass. About 85% of the problem with a number of vender's that sell and ply their NV goods that all are manufactured in Russian, and that even includes the cases. Night Vision vendors will have the Russian put their name's and logo's them and sell them as; excellent quality Night Vision Monoculars, Binoculars, scopes, and other NV devises.



This could be a problem for you being in England. I think that ATN might have a couple of distributors located in England, and Europe. You need to check their web site. Also, you know that this ATN NV binocular is about 7 years old. I'm fairly sure that ATN will try to get you to trade in for a upgrade which more British Pounds. They might also tell you to ship it to the US for repairs. You can try to auction it off on eBay in Europe. I need some parts, what do you want for it? Sorry buddy. Hello, Welcome to the world of Russian night vision system. That is right, Night Owl Optics Cyclops NOCC3 is manufactured in Russian. The biggest problem with these monocular and binoculars and even scope is that they use cheap 1st generation Russian image tubes and everything else. It would be cost prohibitive to have it fixed, that is, if Night Owl Optics will fix it for you. Hint: Auction it on Ebay as night vision parts. Sorry, GB...stewbison

one tube has gone faulty and acts like short on high voltage power supply causeing both sides not to work tubes have to be removed and tested one at a time and faulty tube replaced
