Don't panic- you're not the first person to be stuck somewhere remote without their showerand toiletry bag. The best solution is to buy a no-rinse shampoo which youmassage in to your how and then towel dry it out - no water needed.http://www.norinse.co.uk/Waterless-Hair-Care

How often should you wash your hair?

Stylist and hair pros agree: The more you can go between washes, the better. Regardless of the possibility that you have more slender hair, you should attempt to hold up no less than each other day before your next cleanser. Holding up a couple of days gives your normal oils a chance to do their work for more beneficial, bouncier hair.
Be that as it may, you should make child strides before updating your schedule. Celebrity colorist Louis Licari says to begin washing each other day in the first place, and afterward continue extending it as much as possible. What's more, attempt dry cleanser. On the off chance that you have to a great degree wavy, coarse hair, he proposes utilizing your conditioner as a cleanser, which will make your hair feel cleaner without striping your oils.

Tips to keep your hair healthy and glossy

To keep your hair healthy you should do the following things regularly.

1. Keep protein in your diet almost every day throughout the year. Fish, meat, egg, cheese, etc. is good source of protein. Note, there are certain medical conditions when should not avoid protein

2. You should take foods which supply plenty of vitamin A, B, and D. Fruits are good source of vitamins in general. Mango, papaya, and any yellow color fruit have plenty of Vitamins A.

3. To increase glossy look of hair you should mix 1 teaspoon of gelatin in 1 glass of tomato or carrot juice and drink that every day.

4. Mix Indian gooseberry (Amla) dust, Henna dust, Babul (gum) tree skin dust, Holy Basil (Arjun) tree skin dust in equal proportion. Make powder once again in mixture grinder. Take 10 grams of this mixture for one person. Mix this dust with 6 cups of water. Boil this water till it reduces down to 1 cup. Keep this as it is for one day. Next day do shampoo. Then let the hair become dry. Wear rubber gloves in both hands. Now apply the water to your hair. Do this exercise once in a week. You will get a lovely hair.

5. Castor oil is has tremendous value for hair. Massage castor oil everyday in the roots of hair. In this way the hair roots will be firm. You will see the volume is increasing day by day. Continue this for few weeks. After that reduce the frequency to twice a week.

Is washing your hair too often bad for your hair?

Yes, frequent washing of your hair will strip it of protein and a lot of its natural body and can lead to it looking lifeless. If you blow-dry your hair, you could try using a volumizing lotion or using a small amount of serum to add extra shine and remove any frizz.

Last Tuesday I had the Maintamer straightner put on my hair. My hair is like straw/wire now. I am doing a leave in treatment on it over night and have seen no results in it. What do I do

You need a deep conditioner, stat. Look for a product that contains keratin and is labeled for dry, damaged hair. Run product throughout hair and leave on for several minutes. The product will absorb into your hair shaft and soften your hay-like strands. Time it takes: About 10 minutes, not including the shower. We suggest deep conditioning twice a week the first couple weeks, then continue once a week.
Try not to wash your hair every day, water is very drying to hair (not the shampoo). If you take a shower but opt not to wash your hair, protect your hair with a shower cap.

Try hair mask like Neutrogena Deep Recovery Hair Mask
Or if you want to try homemade hair mask try any one below
Coconut cream mask -
Soften a large chunk of coconut cream (Coconut milk works, too.) in your hands and massage into hair. Wrap your head in a warm towel, leave it on for an hour, wash out, and done! It makes it feel really soft and smell soooo good!
Smoothies for hair -
Mix 1 mashed banana, 1 full egg, 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of milk and 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Make sure it's well combined and then apply to hair. Leave for 15 - 30 minutes and wash out.
Blend 1/2 a banana, 1/4 cantaloupe, 1/4 avocado, 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil and 1 tablespoon yogurt. For extra conditioning, squeeze in the contents of a vitamin E capsule. Leave in hair for 15 minutes.
Mayonnaise (if you can stand the smell it's so worth it.) -
Apply 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to damp hair. Work into hair and then cover with a shower cap or towel for up to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.
Sunflower & Wheatgerm Oil -
Mix 1 cup of sunflower oil and 1 cup of wheat germ oil. Warm the mixture and massage it on the head and hair. Leave in for about 15-20 minuets. Wash off with lukewarm water in which 1 tablespoon of lemon juice has been added.
