Just curious if anyone else is having problems with certain video types on their player. most files upload with no problemo, but i do experience some audio sync problem (audio is like 3 seconds ahead of the video) when i use .mov and .avi files. anyone having problems like this? .wmv works great, just those files giving me some trouble. also is there any way to pause the player so the audio can sync up?

What formatting is necessary to play videos on the SD card slot of my Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu Ray Player?

The SD card is mainly for photos, but you can do video.
The SD card needs to be formatted as fat 16
The video has to be profile 1.1

If you use the larger SDHC cards, they can be formatted fat 32.
It works best if you format it with the player and not your computer.

Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu Ray Player: I've been having trouble getting the SD card slot to read the videos I put onto the SD card. I've tried everything from converting all the video files to AVCHD file types...

It is obvious to me that the player can't read the video off an SD drive. In my experience that card slot is for installing updated firmware not video material.

Can't upload video to my player

And you'll never be able to do that , because your device is called mp3 player . Mp3 formatted files are audio file types and that what your device is capable to run . Video files for a mini device like yours or cell phone devices are formatted in Mp4 formats , so if you want to enjoy watching videos on a small screen , you need to buy another device called Mp4 player . But don't forget to convert all videos to Mp4 format before you upload them to such a device .
good luck .

Transfered pics to DVD ,will not play through my dvd player to tv. Do I need to re-format and how/?

There could be a few problems here. First, different video players only accept certain types of disks that you can burn on. The older the player, the fewer options there will likely be.

DVD Players also only read certain types of files. So, there is no one way to tell what to use without first knowing the dvd player make and model. Common file types that are acceptable for pictures are jpg and gif. Jpeg is a universal type file, and it can be edited in almost any program.

After you find out what kinds of image files your player can read, your best bet is to use whatever software that came with your dvd burner.

The older the burner, the more likely it will be that you have to use the software that came with it. It would be under programs, and if you are not a frequent user, you may never even have opened the software.

Ugh, right? Media Player will also burn pictures to dvds, and you can even use my computer to burn pictures as long as you have them saved in the right file type.

If you are using dvd r disks, you have to finish or finalize them before trying to play them. Recording on those is a one shot deal.

When opening uploaded video AVI file all I get is sound, no pic

That sounds like you don't have the proper codec to play AVI files. Even if you haven't had problems with AVI's before these files may be DIVX avi's instead of the usual Xvid. Download the full codec pack here: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm and install it. Restart your computer and try again and you shouldn't have any problems.
Please rate, thanks!

I need help with Craig CMP622E MP4/video player

for the video issue, I've found that when I'm downloading something from youtube or something like that, if I save it as a .wmv file it will convert it, and for limewire the videos I download are all .avi and those can be converted as well. Hope this helps a bit :D

Uploading problem

So after a little digging around I might have a solution for you. Use this program (Super) to convert your files into Windows Media Video (.wmv) files and Movie Maker should be able to handle them.

Won't upload a certain cd

It seems odd that the device wont play 1 particular artist. If you downloaded it from URGE, it may be subscription content and that may be causing the error. I would try burning the music to a cd, then re-rip them back to your computer to see if that strips out the problems. Best of Luck.
