When you turn the microwave on, the fan comes on, the light turns on inside, but the turntable does not move, and it does not heat up. Any suggestions? Everything else on it works fine (timer,etc) just won't cook food.
Quite often this is due to a bad door switch. Opening the door while cooking (without first hitting the STOP pad) is the primary cause of door switch failure, but it may also be a broken switch mount. I have a text file called "doorsw.txt" which helps in diagnosing and repairing door switch problems, and a file called "safety.txt" which is of vital importance. Hi, The light comes on, the timer works fine, but no fan nor does the turntable move.
it worked about 10 minutes before, lights work, turntable turns, just no heating food
