SOURCE: Wheelchair lift electrical connection installation on 1999 K1500 Suburban?

More than likely your looking at the towing package for wiring a hitch to your vehicle for towing a trailer. Probably can use some of that, but I'm sure if you stopped in at a GM dealer and explained what your trying to do, they'd have someone look & confirm for you that it's o.k. or not to use that harness, without a big service charge.

Clutch fluid leak

Well, it's something any everyday do it yourselfer would take on. ( What portion of the 99% are we?)
The important thing is to stop the leak. It is the reason you are grinding gears (cringe!), and could quickly lead to expensive damage. Clutch (or brake) fluid is a hydraulic fluid, which works under pressure. A leak lowers pressure and reduces the effectiveness of your clutch. So to avoid the cost of a new or rebuilt transmission, stop the leak!
You need a few tools, of course....honestly, let a mechanic review your work after you fix the leak, because likely the clutch system will need to be bled down at the transmission to restore it to full efficiency.

My Nissan Maxima '92 leaks power steering fluid. I had someone look at it but they couldn't find the leak. I just put in new fluid every few weeks and it works fine but if there is an easy fix I would like...

if there is a leaking seal in the power steering rack and pinion or in the hydraulic pump, a power steering stop leak may swell the seal enough to stop the leak. if there is still a leak, it is likely a damaged / corroded line or fluid cooler. next time you need to top up your fluid, i recommend Lucas brand power steering stop leak / treatment. after a couple top ups it will stop the leak it if is a rubber seal problem. good luck!

Ford mondeo 1.8 td diesel, the problem is the power steering fluid is leaking, when i check it look like it was coming from the middle part of the radiator.how can i fix it and what parts do i need to get...

Have a look at the power steering fluid cooler it is just in front of the radiator behind the front bumper. The coolers corrode and leak. Also the seals can go, check for fluid leaking out of the boots at the track rods. Try this procedure :--- 1)Trace the source of the leak. Use a mirror on an extended handle to follow the puddle of fluid on your garage floor to the power steering system. Look on the hoses and gaskets to find from where the fluid could be leaking. 2) Add power steering stop leak additive to your power steering fluid. Lucas Power Steering Stop Additive is 100 percent guaranteed to stop seal leaks. In older cars, the seals shrink, causing leaks. The stop leak makes the seals swell to their original size. 3) Use gasket sealant if the gaskets are old and leaking. Sealant, such as Permatex, is resistant to engine fluids, and will help repair a leaky gasket. 4) Replace the gasket, if the gasket sealant does not work. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

My '99 93 saab conert top wont go down. i hear the motor running, but the back doesnt lift up to allow the storage compartment to open. the sid reads check soft top storage...which i did.

most likely the top pistons start to leak and the motor can create enough pressure to actually lift the top back to go in the storage area... i would let the tonuea cover lift open then get out the car and look around to see for fluid residue.. if not and there are no leaks.. possible the seals in the pump it self has gone out.. and the motor is still trying to pump... the pump and motor is located behind the rear seat under the small plastic panel/.

Leaked tranny fluid.

Your transmission fluid runs to the front of the car in different lines for cooling. you busted one of the lines. figure out what is broken by looking under car when running (in park with brake on), preferably while parked halfway on a curb for better visilbility. Fix the problem or have mechanic fix it. You shouldn't keep driving, without AT fluid, the car wont move...
Hope this helps
Paul
PS Don't even think about buying stop-leak fluid..!
