Need
Go into Preferances, go to Wi-Fi, touch the blue cycle next to the Wi-Fi router you're conected to. Scroll to the bottom of the page and touch "Renew Lease", touch "Renew Lease" in the pop up. This may or may not work the first time. Either way, power off your iTouch by holding the "Power button" then sliding the slider. Turn it back on, go back to Preferences/Wi-Fi... Renew Lease... Try to open Safari. If it doesn't work the first time, no worries, try it all again. This is the solution, but if your iTouch gets glitchy, it can take a few tries. The most I've ever seen was 3 complete tries... "Renew Lease, Full Restart (slide to power off), Renew Lease"... one. Repeat!

ok, so once i go to general the wifi button is grey and it says NO WIFI even though iam in a location where there is free wifi. about two months ago my itouch got washed, i quikly dried it off and waited a day. After that every thing worked fine ecept for internet. is there any thing i can do?

What have you tried already? When you go to Settings and then Wireless what does it show? Are you trying to do it wireless or when connected to Mac/Pc? We need more info to help...
