Washing machine is only 12 months old, goes through initial wash but when gets to rinse and spin keeps saying machine is unbalanced. After repositioning clothes message recurs. Level of machine has been checked many times. Cannot get through a complete wash and even will not do an individual rinse or spin cycle. Can anyone help please?

Ok you need to check your machine is level- if not adjust feet. You aslo need to check the Bias spring is still attached if not get a new one or re-attach it. The Bias spring is a little spring that connects from the top of the front left suspention rod to the top of the plastic bowl cover (this spring is meant to help stop it going out of balance so easy. Cheers

Hi Dale..
It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

With all do respect to Parky16, I'm not sure you know what a Fisher & Paykel unit is.
It sounds like you have a drain pump problem. You will need to get the water out. With a shop vac or something. Tilt the unit back on a milk crate, paint can or pull it out from the wall far enough so it will not fall down.
Looking up from the bottom on the left front side you should see a small pump. If it has been out of balance or has sucked something up in it the fan blade may be stopped. If not you should be able to freely turn this blade. If you can't turn it you have and internal clog.
If you get this far and don't want to call a repairman out let me know.

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.
first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.

i think that 1 or more suspension rods r faulty. lift the lid and at the front of the machine u will see 2 plastic covers, remove the covers and undo the screws underneath. now lift the front of the hob up gently and u will see the suspension rods. they r easliy replaced. but first see if they havent just popped out. if they have just popped out look at the other 3 and refit to how the others are.if u need more help or u find another problem reply back and i will help u more.good luck
