I'm still unsure of what wire you are asking about but if you take a test light and with the key off check the wires that you want to know about you can tell the one that has power with the key off cause the light will light up. hope this helps.............

Although the transmission may be siilar, the engine and supporting wiring harness, and control modules are not. This can be done, anything can, but it is probably more trouble than it's worth for a mini van. If this was a classic car then sure.
if you have the connector and are trying to determine which is which... use a multimeter to test for voltage. the memory wire will have power to it regardless if the key is on or not.
