85 Toy 4Runner coolant loss problem

My 85 toy 4runner 4wd is having problem of blowing out the coolant through the small hose that run from next to the radiator cap to the small coolant tank. I replaced a new thermostat, new radiator cap and a new radiator about 1 week ago. The water pump is about 8 months old. Still give me same problem everyday after that.
Whate else can be the faulty of this coolant loss?

Well , I am leaning toward your head gasket going.
What is happening is the coolant system (all new I see) is pressurising to the point of blowby .

My recomendation is to NOT put the cap on all the way (ie; 1/2 a turn loose) to allow the pressure to escape w/o exhausting the coolant in the process.

First Check if coolant level is proper, The small hose is used to allow the OVER FLOW to exit system.

1. Is the vehicle overheating? or is there a small amount of fluid being discharged from the hose. When the coolant gets hot it expands.

2. If the fluid creates a loss large enoughto allow overheating, then I would look for a blockage in the coolant system. Keep me post with your progress.

1992 Toyota 4Runner, overheats, radiator, upper and lower hoses and thermostat new. Water pump has about 10,000 miles. upper hose heats up, lower hose stays cold. Heater blows only cold air. Help

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. Have you checked to see if it is a coolant sensor? Have you checked to make sure the fans are coming on? Are you leaking coolant anywhere? Checked the cap?

Where is the thermostat located in the engine of a v6 3.0 toyota 4runner engine?

Your thermostat is located under a metal housing on the top of the engine. The upper radiator hose connects to this housing. To change the thermostat you basically need to drain the radiator after your engine is cold, disconnect the upper radiator hose from the engine, and remove the bolts from the small housing. replace the thermostat, and clean the surfaces on both sides and replace the gasket too. reinstall the housing, attach the hose, and refill the radiator. start the engine, warm it up and check for leaks, then re check the coolant level after the engine cools off again

Have 04 toy 4runner. Struts are riding soft and seems to bottom out. Don't have switch to adjust and don't know where the fluid tank for struts are

you won't have a fluid tank, the fluid/gas with be internal in the strut , you will have to replace struts.
